Iconic Hotel/Casino nods to the legacy of downtown Deadwood while adding a contemporary architectural flare.

With construction completed in 2018, this 109-room, four-story hotel is located on North Main Street in Deadwood South Dakota’s renown Historic District. Chamberlin Architects facilitated the rigorous Historic Preservation process, design review, and final approval needed for this hotel and casino to be built within the historic district.

A bold entrance, flanked by a larger-than-life screen visible through oversized windows leads visitors into an open modern lobby, restaurant, gym, and Cadillac Jack’s Casino. The building boasts 56,000 sf of underground parking garage.

True to the energetic nature of the project, our interior designers in tandem with the Cadillac Jack’s in-house designers, created a dynamic yet cohesive aesthetic. Chamberlin’s contribution included the lobby, coffee shop, food court and the casino lighting and ceiling features.
