This facility embodies PrimeHealth+’s mission to provide health care to residents regardless of income or insurance status.

PrimeHealth+ (formerly Marillac Health) tasked Chamberlin Architects with designing a new integrated healthcare clinic in Grand Junction at 526 29-1/2 Road. Their mission is to provide a wide scope of primary health care services to all Mesa County residents regardless of income or insurance status. The new clinic is directly adjacent to the Mesa County Community Services campus, which allows synergy between the programs the county provides and the clinical services those same residents need. This integrated facility offers medical, dental and mental health care. For convenience, an on‐site pharmacy with a drive up window is included. Clinic administration is accessible to all providers and its location fosters connections between all staff. PrimeHealth+ is partnered with CMU MavTech to train the next generation of medical assistants and support staff on-site using the clinic space for after-hours teaching use.

This facility embodies their mission. It will allow them to see another 5,000+ patients in addition to the 12,000+ that currently count on them for care.

This health care facility for PrimeHealth+ is the provider's flagship clinic with 27,000 sf including urgent care, primary care, dental, a pharmacy, and administrative offices. All building functions are connected via a central entry/waiting space supplied with ample natural light to not require artificial lighting during daylight hours. The building's exterior orientation and forms were driven by site views and local geological features.
